    Byetta & Insulin

    Thanks everyone for that info. I spoke to my Db nurse at my gp practice today and she wasn't ver impressed!! What I have been advised is to halve the Glicazide and to reduce the Insulin down to 10 units and very closely monitor BM levels. So far so good... Darren

    New to the site

    Breakfast usualy involves a couple of bits of toast, Lunchtime I try to avoid rolls and sarnies and have salads, meat &c. I normally have either Pasta or Rice with my dinner. The thing is I haven't changed my diet at all yet my Bloods have gone crazy recently Darren

    Newly diagnosed and so confused

    Hi All Reading the above posts I'm glad that my PCT - East Kent, is one of the more enlightened ones as I've never had any problems with getting hold of any meds. Also the GP practice I'm with are absolutley fantastic, my only regret is that I didn't register with them earlier!!! Darren
