    Novarapid timing

    I tend to inject around about 5-10 minutes before eating. Never really experimented with injecting after eating as i was originally told this would be a bad idea

    I always used to try and hide my injections when at work and out but now i don't bother. I'm still discrete but don't worry about people seeing me inject.

    Type 1: What are your HbA1c test results?

    Mines come down a lot (for me that is), after some intensive blood measuring and insulin adjustments. Was 12.7 (12 months ago). 2 months ago it was 9.7. Now being layed up with Charcot's foot my levels have increased due to inactivity so will need to have another go to bring it down

    Been back to my GP again today. The swelling has gone down a bit and the heat has reduced. Still a possible infection so i'm finishing the course of antibiotics i was given before being referred for an MRI. By the way, can anyone recommend a painkiller that i could take for this problem. ?

    Yes it was suggested but only when the infection or gout have been eliminated. They also said that it may not show up on the MRI anyway.
