    Just had the phone call with the statement that my Cholestroral was 1.2 mmol and the Dr wanted to talk to me. I am having a phone call on the 22nd Oct.. So there doesnt seem to be any urgency. But never dealt with Cholestroral before so wondering why they want to talk to me ????

    OK ... So now up to 80 units a day of Novomix and still no change to my levels at all .. I managed a quick word with the nurse who tells me to keep increasing the units and pumping them in untill the levels drop.??? Are these normal amounts of insulin???? Seems a lot to me...

    Was put on Novomix 30 a few weeks ago with a starting dose of 14 mornings and 14 evening meal, a total of 28, and told to increase by 2 units a time until they evened out to the normal zone of between 5-7..
