Hey! So this evening I've come across a problem with my feet, mostly my right foot. In short it is this weird lump near the beginning of my toe. I've already tried to find some similar discussions on this website and looks like it really is smth diabetes related and the only advise I found was...

    My "Diabetic" tattoo

Well if you're scared about the pain, then it just depends on where you make it. My tattoo is placed , where it didnt hurt at all.. I did feel smth , but it wasn't pain or anything like that. But , as the tattoo maker joked just before starting on my tattoo : "If you have to inject needles...

Thank you! This means a lot ! :) Well I don't know if it is just not that right period of my life or smth , but for the past 3-4 years I've had to doubt almost every friend I've gotten close to.. Over the 1st year of friendship it is going fine, but later it ends up with them not understanding...

    My "Diabetic" tattoo

Hey! Thanks for the help. :) Other than just to mainly speak with people with similar issues and lifestyles , that was my purpose to join this forum - to find friends , who can relate to me and I can relate to them :)

    My "Diabetic" tattoo

Well to be honest I am recently staring to stand up for myself and to think with my own head.. A year ago or so I'd probably never do something if someone would disapprove it. And I really do mean it when I say that after this spring I've become much stronger.. Maybe since they are so used to...

    My "Diabetic" tattoo

Yea, that is what I am doing lately with things .. just following my gut and instinct no matter what.. and so far I haven't regretted that :) Just hate it how one of the many arguments was that "I wasn't even consideing their opinion , when they said I should not do it" I did, but that doesn't...

    My "Diabetic" tattoo

--------------------------------------- Well I've been both polite and not.. and just asked to accept my decision. I guess that topic is more or less over with them, because one of the last things that was said is "ok, do what you want.. it's you who is going to have to live with it" as if it is...

    My "Diabetic" tattoo

Thanks for your opinion :) But I have heard a saying that it's only a disease , it's also a lifestyle (a one that you did not choose though) :) And , if given the right attitude , it feels like a good change (well it has been for me) , for example, I never would of thought that I'd be actually...

    My "Diabetic" tattoo

Yeah, I am hoping that in time they will at least accept my decision. There is also an option to tattoo the word "was" or "ex" before. :)

    My "Diabetic" tattoo

One of the benefits of having this tattoo is that it could bring awareness to others, who aren't even sure what is Diabetes.. I was one of them before I got diagnosed.. so I'll definitely keep talking about it :)
