    type 1 and pregnant

    Hi, I had my 'babies' over 30 years ago. Diabetic management was much more difficult then. Had normal pregnancies and deliveries. Feeding usually made my sugars very low, so I would have 2 digestives and a glass of milk to hand! Good luck.

    How long have you been a diagnosed type 1?

    I have also had type 1 for almost 50 years. Very few complications and busy life. Hope this will be an encouragement to those of you who are newly diagnosed. It certainly isn't easy but it can be managed.
