wel you refer to non diabetics, do non diabetics eat what they like, do they eat carbs and meat and veg etc yes so shouldnt we live our life like those like we were intended to do if we didnt have diabetes. thats my opinion x

hey marky and welcome!! i have been diabetic for 5 years, i have had high blood sugars and do understand were you are coming from with your eyes as i get soo worried when mine go blurry but once your sugars have settled you will see (literally) an improvement in your eyes lol dont stress you...

hey bex, when i was diagnosed 5 years ago all i had was a urine test and she sent me to the hospital as she suspected iw as diabetic, and then ih ad my blood test, but they probably haven't took it further as when you sugars are high sugar goes through your urine which would show in your test...

hey all, just a quick message to say my appointment at the camouflage clinic, i went and she matchedd my skin tone with the make up, and i get the make up on repeat prescription, and i get it freeeeee lol, also ladies if you wear fake tan the nurse said to me when i go to my next appointment in...

in my opinion at least there doing something!! gotta start somewhere you never no this could be taken into detail and another experiement may be carried out to find more out x

i havent been on the same type of trip but i have been to spain and greece and very hot times! and i used a frio bag and it was fantastic!!! it lasts for a while, i only had to soak it water every couple of days, and they stay cool, even on a very hot beach haha, make sure u take plenty of test...

plus i normally eat more a week before which raises the sugars tooo obv's lol. but yes i tend to be a tad higher!! what a bummer for us haha x

im type 1 but when my sugars are high i get blurred vision in both directions, the optician probably didn't think about diabetes, they may just think your eyes are weakening, your bloods dont seem to high though hmm...so as sandy said i'd ask for an early test, and i suppose for the time being...

just like mal said that it gets inflamed on the level of sugar, my levels have been fab this week and my leg colour has changed and its lighter!! :) one reason to keep my sugars down! x

yeh i said to sum1 b4 im useless at T2 thats why i asked if they were T1 or T2, and i posted something on a thread before that this needs to be adressed that everyone knows the differences between T1 and T2. i didnt mean to offend if i did. i was sayin from, i suppose, an outsiders view from T2 x
