All these fines have been cancelled ! Contact the British diabetic association for confirmation of this . NHS blantently lie about sending reminders they don't send them .

All fines are being refunded and everyone should be getting a letter saying that. i got mine today. You have 60 days to get a replacement card. DONT PAY THE FINE, it is officially cancelled.

Would it be possible to get a copy of the letter telling him the fine has been waived !? As they are not normally waiving the fee . My complaint has gone through every level of complaint with the NHS bsa and they will not budge . I have no intention of paying though .

Dear Lex, I have also been fined and escalated my complaint to the CE at BSA. He has now written back in typical robotic style that the fine still stands. Like others I DID NOT receive a warning and have NEVER been asked to produce a certificate. I have just commented on the FB page

I'm not sure but they told me on the phone and on the letter that it increase another £50 if not paid by a certain time

Also , interestingly re Beaver lees post , my letter said specifically that you must NOT send any documents in and there was no form to fill in , simply a penalty charge and contact number which is the one I called .
