    48 hours now and im ok with it,asked the hospital to amputate my legs but they wouldn't do it

    oh in the end game now,meant 2 be going to hospital in january,dont think i'll bother though its a lost cause,now if they would amputate my legs and left arm maybe.get burning in my arms and legs eating dry toast so i dont see the point,neuropathy at nite is a pain and thats putting it mildly

    i'm sick of diabetes cant see the point in eating myself,so i'm going 2 just have some porridge in morning and half a slice of toast at night.i'm on metformin and the neuropathy is driving me insane along with peripheral vascular disease

    the pain and burning is probably neuropathy,i would suggest eating last meal quite early and then go for a walk for about 20-30mins about 2 hours after eating and do not eat any snacks later.i have burning in my feet at night and it does help me.try to keep away from carbohydrates ie potatoes,bread

    depends when you done the test,was it just after eating?within 2-3 hours as you would need to test more often to get an average.i tried a meter for a while but the readings made me depressed so i stopped using it and when i had my 3monthly bg levels checked my average was 6

    last hb test 6,but i still get burning in my feet at night,it seems like my bs levels are rising long after meals about 6 hours after dinner;if i skip dinner my feet seem better at night.my question is does the bg level keep rising for hours or are my nerves just hypersensitive

    well,i have hardening of the arteries and now i have blocked veins in my feet and the palms of my hands seem to go bright red;so there is not a lot of point making myself depressed with the bg readings

    i had a bg of 6.7 before dinner,then we had chicken veg and 2 small potatoes;then we went out for a long walk about 5 miles and when we got back my bg was 11.don't quite understand that as when i go out after lunch for about an hour and test after 2 hours it is usually high 5's or 6+
