    Induction/Birth

What is a CTG? I don’t particularly want an induction if my baby is at no risk, I’d rather let him arrive on his own in his own time. My research has turned up the same info as yours and OP but feels like a bit of a battle with my medical team! I’m wondering if I volunteer for this CTG as well...

    Giving birth and induction

This I my concern too! I feel if the risks are merely generic “diabetic” ones then I’d rather go into labour naturally. At the moment no one seems to be able to tell me why I, specifically, need an induction! [emoji17]

Burning Out After 20 Years T1d

Hey Emily, Definitely not the only one feeling like this. I’ve been working with my diabetes care team and will hopefully get funding for the Freestyle Libre in December. How are you finding the Dexcom G5? I definitely find it easier with a CGM to monitor blood glucose levels. I find low carb...

Burning Out After 20 Years T1d

Thanks Alison, that’s kind of you to say. I suppose there are a lot of changes going on right now and it’s easy to lose sight of that. I’m going to try look at it as me figuring out how I want to handle my diabetes rather than trying to get back to my childhood routine :)

Burning Out After 20 Years T1d

Hi KK Thanks for your message, it’s good to speak with people who understand where I’m coming from. Just find it so frustrating that I managed to get through all the hormonal/stressful teenager years and now I’m old enough to know better and the consequences of not looking after your...

Freestyle Libre Poll - Have you had a skin reaction ?

I’ve had a couple of minor reactions, but I’m not sure if it’s from the sensor or more from the removal. I tend to try remove the actual sensor from the glue and then remove the glue in the bath/shower which seems to help a bit
