    Thank you both! In regards to the low carb diet- I've eaten what i want, when I want for years, poor control- so when I do control my bloods I have hunger pains > just wanted tips to avoid over indulging and ending up with high bloods! (Quite the vicious circle). Liv x

    Hi, sounds too familiar! I'm type 1, 20 and was diagnosed when I was 8. I have weeks where my control is great, however they are rare. However to answer your question, i think it depends on the person, but I can get my bloods straight within a day...it's just keeping it that way which is hard...

    I live in Derby, Pretty rubbish control. I know no one in Derby with diabetes and would be great to have a chat! x Also have a few questions: >any recommendations for set meals for lunch? >under 10g snacks? >Facebook groups in the Midlands? >Does coffee really effect bloods and creates barriers...
