    Type 1 Alcohol

I'm new to it all myself but from what I've researched and found out from fellow diabetics is make sure you have something to eat before hand, keep an eye on your BS especially being new to it and have something before bed, i was recommended a sandwich, I've been out for a few drinks once or...

    Feeling low late evening.

Does anyone else have a problem with feeling really low later in the evening when first diagnosed? I'm ok during the day but on a night it really gets to me, I know not being able to get my bloods as low as I need to is dragging me down so could be that.

    Bodybuilding and diabetes

I've been considering going back to using Tren A and test ( I usually get very good gains) but I am hearing so many stories about insulting resistance etc that I am unsure what to believe.

    Memory loss and type 1

Yeah I'm still pretty down on it but not as bad as I was at first, I've never had the greatest memory but I've noticed a considerable change lately, I think today's probably because it's been a tough day, bloods have been great last few days then today just went downhill with Peaks and troughs...

    Surely this can't be right????

I was told pretty much the same thing, obviously I was advised to try and stay clear of full fat Coke etc but apart from that I'm being shown how to carb count and to adjust my insulin to suit my needs as I'm a big eater

This 8 week 800 calorie a day thing

@zand no I am not overweight but even for some one overweight 800cals a day is still a very low amount for anyone.

This 8 week 800 calorie a day thing

800 calories a day would drive me insane, I consume between 3-4000cals a day and still want more. I would imagine your energy levels will go through the floor and you will feel like sh*t most of the time, I wouldn't recommend it at all.

    When should I test

@liam1955 I also stated he should check before and after meals as well as if he feels he has spiked or dropped which is the sensible thing to do for a newbie? As for insulin dosages you should be informed by your diabetic nurse with the first week or so how to administer a correction dosage to...
