    I'm T2 and just gone through this process. You do not need to tell DVLA unless you are taking insulin Car Insurance said they didn't need to be told. Again...unless you're on insulin - this could vary between insurance companies

    So this morning I bought my Accu-Chek Aviva and tested my fasting level which was 7.7 mmol/L I had scrambled egg (3 eggs) on 1 slice of toasted white bread (with pro-active spread) I tested again 2 hours later and my level has dropped to 6.8 mmol/L I'm not sure if this is a good thing as I'm...

    New to this....totally lost!

    Diagnosed around 4 weeks ago - type 2. Given Metformin to take once a day but I'm aware this needs to increase gradually. I have no idea what I'm supposed to eat. I've done the obvious and cut out the sugar (sweets, cakes, puddings etc) and switched to the only fruit I like which is bananas...
