Hi all and a late Happy new year, I'm still on low carb, bs average 5.8...6.2, my last hab1c was 4.8, down from 7.4, which gp said that was fantastic, also chols, 6.8, which has also dropped, and i take no stats (i refuse to),and I have lost 23kg, (boy thats 3st ..more), in 12mths which nurse...

Very true, I am of gypsy stock,but it is the goverments that have created these problems in treating us like some sort ethnic minority, and portraying us and uneducated, thiefs, trouble makers, etc, when we are not all any of the above, as you say there is good and bad in all cultures, races...

I use a low carb diet for my diabetes, but a glass or 2 for my insomnia :wink:
