    hi just wondered how others have got through the shakes ect when your sugar levels begin to come down from being high . i tend to start shaking around 8.9 and tend to eat sugar to stop it .but would love to here if you have some advice so i can get it low without this happening .

    mine is usually 11- 12 at mo starting to come down no as i was taken off medication for a while because of complications.long way to go though.

    i will take a look ,i certainly need some pointers . swop for swop i find most helpful my hba1c when this first showed in feb was 48 stable on metformin .and after being taken off all meds was59. then put on glimepiride .now taken off them and will have hba1c retested in two weeks.

    No mention of not testing. I don't eat pasta ect every day and if I do have some it's organic wholemeal. Yes it breaks down to sugar but a lot slower. As they say all about ballance.

    Yes I'm sure your right, it's all about ballance. And when like myself your pancreas is slowing Down it gets harder as you go on.

    i was stable on metformin for 3 months and was tested again after the fainting episodes my hba1c was 48 .but because they thought i might have had a mini stroke it was stopped . later i was given the glimepiride and had problems strait away. any tips im always open to.

    i was on metformin from october last year but had fainting symptoms in february so was taken off .after many tests they started me on Glimepiride .i was on 2mg but strait away i was getting shakes so that was put to 1mg ,within a short time i was going into hypo at 5.9

    maybe i should take another visit to see dr then .i know lack of water is a cause of fatigue ,never heard of electrolytes though . i shall look into that .thanks .

    its a great feeling ,but feeling a bit lost now i have don it . how and what should i do next to keep it away .this tired feeling doesnt help me want to get to gym ,i just push myself with a muggy head .
