Hi I have just been on "ask the expert forum". There is a new change in the way Hb1Ac is given, it is in mmol/mol. for eg 7% = 53mmol/mol. We now need a converter to milimol /Litre.

Hi Sorted the DCCT out, thanks. I found a simple conversion from old Hb1Ac(percentage) to new millimol/mol. It is called take away two then 2 again For eg HbiAc of 7% is 53 mmol/mol Thus 7-2=5 5-2=3 Answer=53mmmol/mol. eg 2 HbA1c of 12% is 108mmol/mol 12-2=10 10-2=8...

Anyone know how we relate the new numbers (millimol per mol) for Hb1Ac, to the millimol per litre as recorded on my BG meter?

Hi I am type 2 diet/exercise controlled. Like many others I do not qualify for free test strips.(An outrage in my opinion ) Has anyone found a good source(and reliable)of these test strips at a reduced price?

hi Newly diagnosed as T2. Bought myself a meter so that I could monitor progress, but my GP will not prescribe replacement drums. Seems strange, any one else come across this? Jaz
