Aint' no mountain high enough - Type 1 inspiration

Not exactly serious mountaineering but stomped around Lastours this past week in France. High enough for me! Only issue was the high wind. I clung to a boulder....limpet like. The sense of success and achievement was huge!

    Help

Hey Rosie, Tea is always a good idea and you should be fine, presuming no sugar added. I'm type 1 and drink 2-3 mugs every day. Also, a cuppa is a great comfort when things are tough. It's such a big thing to comprehend when you first get diagnosed, but you will get there. I'm a few months in...

    Effects of emotion

Hey Lynz Sorry to hear about the depression and bad nights. I've not had an experience like this, but I do seem to experience higher glucose levels when stressed. I'm still quite new to this but I tend to use the fast acting to correct this. Sending you peaceful and happy dreams. R

Overnight Low glucose after gym - any tips?

I do tweak the fast acting a little depending on glucose level, what I'm expecting to do at the gym. I was wondering if I need to reduce the long acting a little on gym days too. As you can probably tell, still quite new at this, so it's great to hear how everyone else works it. Thank you!

Hi there Been using flash libre sensors for couple of months now. I seem to remember that they are not recommended for saunas and steam rooms. Maybe check on the website? In terms of removal, I find if I smother it in moisturiser where it's in contact with skin for a minute or so then get in...
