Is there a type 2 diabetic forum here not on insulin, as I only get the option of the one for those who take insulin. I cannot work out how to get any other option? Can anyone help please?

10.2 so too high :-( but that’s improving on what I have been getting. On Two metformin twice a day now, realised I’d been doing my Ozempic injection weekly slightly wrong, so hoping that kicks in properly now. Have emailed my diabetic nurse anyway to see what she thinks of things as they stand.

I’m currently trying some days of eating no meat or fish. Noticed my blood sugars slightly lower not greatly different. Just wondered if anyone had successfully lowered their sugars by going vegetarian?

I’ve been on Ozempic since last summer. The only side effect I noticed initially was my hair thinned slightly but even that’s settled down.

Weighed Thursday 112kg. Have lost 6kg since November , but been stuck last 3 weeks. Going to further reduce carbs in the hope kick starts more weight loss.
