    Tough days

Thanks everyone, I’m feeling a lot better after my rant! What a mare and of course coming back down now. Looks like it was a combination, finger prick testing alongside as it finally topped out at 19.6. Deep breaths. I’m going to get there, just need to sort it out a bit more and take the time...

    Tough days

First time ever I’m working from home, all night hitting the top of the libre. Then get back to range and BAM! Bloody bread and soup. I’ve been having salads and pre-bolus by 15 mins and now this. I’d like to say it’s the first time but I seriously can’t get a handle on this. My numbers are just...

Type 1 High blood sugars on Tresiba Degludec

Hey @scotteric, I've just changed over from Levemir to Tresiba, and I'm trying to stay patient with it. First of all, I was dropping from a high of around 15 at 3am, to around 5/6 in the morning, then good all day. Until around 10.30pm when I would start to rise up every single night. The drop...

    Levemir 11pm rise

Morning folks. I’m 60% sure my question relates to my basal insulin. I’ve been just over a year as type 1 and my pancreas has now stopped helping all together. My insulin needs have really increased. I’m currently taking 12 units levemir at 10am and then another 8 at 10pm. However, every...

    Fed up

Hey! I keep my Dexcom on by using tagaderm or similar, got some on amazon and stick em down. Not sure with libre as it would need to cover the whole thing! That skin tac stuff is pretty expensive but certainly works too!

Hi guys, got my diagnosis as type 1 around 6 weeks ago and had my first hypo at 2.8, out of the blue! Treated it and all was fine. However, today I got into a tizzy that it was happening again and was ready with coke in hand to treat but meter is showing bg of 7.8. I've been getting great...
