    Freestyle Libre & Samsung S9

The folk in the shop were really helpful, I think one of them is T1 as well so they understood the importance of getting it fixed. Dropped the phone off, went to watch football and picked it up on my way back to Waverley station.

    Freestyle Libre & Samsung S9

I took my 'phone to the Samsung Shop on Princes Street in Edinburgh and they replaced the NFC coil and it has worked perfectly since then. There was no cost involved as it was done under warranty. Hope this helps.

Tried that. A full reset works once and then I have to go through the rigmarole again most times.

    Freestyle Libre & Samsung S9

I have been using the Libre sensor for a few months now and using my Samsung S9 to scan it. Initially it was a bit hit or miss as to taking a reading but now I have to reset my 'phone whenever I have to scan. Has anyone else experienced problems like this and if so is there a remedy?

    Freestyle Libre Notification.

NHS Lothian will give you Freestyle Libre on prescription as long as you meet a few conditions, the main one being attending a DAFNE course. I started a couple of months ago and so far have had no problems getting my prescription fulfilled. It looks like NHS Scotland is ahead of NHS the rest of...

    I'm an Eejit!

Only did a correction of 2 at lunchtime. The only thing i can think of that may have produced the low BG is that I cycled through the streets of Edinburgh for half an hour on my way to get the train home.

    I'm an Eejit!

Not sure what is going on here, my reading before tea was 4.7 despite no Levermir at 09:00 this morning and only a slight correction at lunch. Maybe i should forget my Levermir more often. [emoji6]

8.7 at lunchtime, which higher than i would like is still a bit short of " oh fck" territory.

Newly diagnosed Type 1 - Carbs and Insulin ratio

After 6 months or so you should be eligible to attend a DAFNE course. This course is excellent and will educate you on all you need to know about carbs and units of insulin. I went on the course in December and learnt an awfull lot.

    I'm an Eejit!

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately I am in an industrial wasteland with no access to a Pharmacy. Checking and adjusting it will have to be.

    I'm an Eejit!

Arrived at work this morning and when I went to do my morning Levermir injection I found out that I have left the pen at home. Erse that I am. Anyway my question is do I compensate by increasing the Novo Rapid i take at lunch and tea?

    DAFNE Course

Thanks. The problem is that we are a pretty small team at work and any absences can cause grief. I shall speak with my Boss and hopefully a compromise can be reached.
