Thank you all for your replies... I will go back to my doctors, and request to see a consultant...I only saw the consultant when admitted to hospital on initial diagnosis... I'm on a 30 percent soluble..70 percent isolate insulin... and 're diet... am very careful 're sugars and doctor did say...

Hi... I'm new to all this.... diagnosed May 2016.. b/g off the scale... I'm 53,went straight to insulin injections .. and am now injecting 56 units twice a day.... b/g currently 17... but varies between 6 and 11 on average... with occasional dips to 4.7... I'm at a total loss.. every one I speak...
