    Thanks for the reply! I'm lucky to be very sensitive to my blood sugar so waking up at night to highs and lows are what I see as a good thing. However I do find that sometimes my sugars are absolutely fine and I still wake up and check to make sure.

    Hair loss

    Hi Lois, I was diagnosed at 9 (7 years ago) and shortly after, a lot of my hair fell out too. It did grow back very soon after (this time, thicker and curlier) and it now looks the same as my mum - before diagnosis it was straight and thinner. Hang in there and I hope you're feeling alot better...
