Hi, type 2 since April but can't get blood glucose under control, is nearly always ranging from 7-11, have reduced carbs and doing some exercise, any ideas or tips really welcome thx
Thanks everyone, boarding in Spain, flying out from Manchester, think I will put testing kit in hold luggage and keep tablets in hand luggage then, don't want any hassle at the airport, find that stressful enough!
Hello jo, I know just how you feel, I found out in late April and still coming to terms with it. I feel angry at the condition and I am finding that if I turn that anger into a feeling of not letting this get the better of me i feel better. Might be worth a try
Going abroad tomorrow first time since finding out I am type 2, thinking of pitting my tablets and bg tester in my hand luggage and just showing to security when I go through, what do u think?
Thanks, that's good to know, no not testing yet, nurse not said if I should but after reading stuff on here think I will buy one, seems like the best way forward now and will help me feel in control, would you recommend any?
Hiya, I am Neely type 2 and just can't get my head round it. Don't seem to be able to take it all in, I take 1500 mg metformin and ok with them, stopped eating sugary things but rebelled yesterday and had chocolate. Read loads of stuff on here about diet and carbs, is it really just cutting...
Thanks again Steve, going to ask when I see nurse again about testing. Feel same as you I need to know how what I eat effects me so thanks for confirming this for me. Never been on a forum like this for anything before but feel better already thx
