    Freestyle liber sensor location

I use my abdomen and find it handy and out of the way there and less likely to be knocked or caught (I usually have my pump cannulas on abdo too so used to having things there) easy to cover up too. The only issue I have is that they seem to loosen a little, a bit will become unstuck but I cover...

    Which infusion set medtronic 640g

I use the 6mm cannula with 60cm tubing which is long enough for me to be able put the pump anywhere, it usually lives in my pocket or bra. I use Sure T sets which are the steel cannulas and alternate it with Quick-sets for when I'm working so I don't have to do a cannula change late at night or...

Are you Diabetic or diabetic? Work with me on this one...!

It does stop me doing things on occasions, it does define how I do things and it has implications in many aspects of day to day living but it still only represents a small part of who I am. (diabetic vs person with diabetes = same thing in my opinion and not bothered by either!)

    Medtronic Transmitter

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has a 'spare' medtronic transmitter for a Veo pump? I have been given some Enlite sensors from a friend who has changed pumps but only have a VERY dead transmitter! I thought that maybe if someone has upgraded or changed their pump they might have one lying around...

How many doctors, nurses and specialists actually have diabetes?

I'm a nurse although I work in critical care not in diabetes (although a fairly high % of my patients have type 2 diabetes). My diabetes consultant is type 1

    Pumpers - A few questions :)

Paint balling is very painful but yields beautifully spherical bruises. Maybe don't wear your pump at all whilst you are playing, you can always reconnect every so often and bolus the basal you missed if it's going to be a long time but generally the games are fairly quick. The...
