Hi everybody
Ok let's have a roll call, who on here attended the PWDC16 conference in Nottingham this weekend??
It was a great event and really worthwhile

It was a really good event - nice to meet the wider GBDOC, having had the regularly organised events that @ewelina has run in London. I too intend to attend next year.

Looks like there may be an opportunity to broaden the London events to include people that don't participate in the forum, if people want to?

Yes would be great. I invited few people who were from London. I was surprised that not everyone is on this forum. I suppose setting up fb page for our meet ups is the next step

There's a London Type 1s facebook page I learned about this weekend. Maybe just post it there!

I went, was really interesting to meet so many of us and was quite surprised that I learned so much.

And we're going to end up taking over whole pubs if our group size keeps increasing ;)

I was there :-) Nearly didn't go but ridiculously glad I did. Met some great people and learnt loads, even got the pain in my shoulders diagnosed - I had no idea we're prone to Frozen Shoulder, I just thought it was my bad posture...

But highlight of the weekend was @ewelina 's amazing low carb lemon cake!!

Did she win with that?

I was there. Really good conference and I picked up loads of little tips from other people that I'd never thought of.

Ewelina's cake was really nice and lots of people wanted the recipe, just a shame I only got the last slice!

I was there (obviously!) had a fab weekend, great to put faces to peoples twitter handles. Hopefully more of the forum will go next year as its a great resource to have

Yes, I was there I thought it was excellent, great venue, and well organised. Learnt a lot, and was very interested in Tim Omer's talk about technology to help people with diabetes. Amazing.
