    Bread: 2 years ago I bought low-carb bread from Sainsburys: Hi-Lo Seeded Medium Sliced Wholemeal Bread 400g (5g carb per slice) Now, I only eat keto dietdoctor.com home-made breads, e.g. hotdog buns with Dulano Franfurters for breakfast. Nice!

    Effect of high temperatures on BG

    Heat increases my blood sugar readings. About 5 days of 35 degrees at the end of June 2019 pushed my blood sugar values to 9 mmol/L after breakfast when on a normal day the values would be below 7 mmol/L. Less heat, 30-32 degrees, results in a smaller increase typically 6.5 to 7.5 mmol/L.

    Heat/Humidity & High Readings

    Last week in June last year (2019) max day temperatures in London were around 35 degrees C and my blood sugar values shot up to 9 mmol/L two hours after meals. The values were 5.8-7.5 mmol/Ls after same kind of meals at normal temperatures.
