Please can you tell me bout the fasting is it to lower levelsDepends on the day, but I'm not too scared of eggs! Between 1 and 4 daily, depending on whether I'm feeling ravenous after fasting for 18 hours, or whether I can wait to cook something else.

In the second study referenced, the data is taken from 6 prospective cohorts, i.e. from restricted entry criteria such as people in hospital for heart problems or in a say a VA care home for elderly or similar possibly biassed subject pool. We do not know what these restrictions were, but the reported CVD and all mortality death rate in 17 years (MAX) indicates a stressed community at the start. There was no attempt to identify any other sources of dietary cholesterol used by these cohorts, such as meat consumption, butter, and dairy fat, etc, Lastly, most of the authors of this study were paid or employed by drug companies involved in statin development and supply, and these companies appear to have funded this research.I have only scanned the article, but it is full of contradictions.
Will read it fully later, but have noticed that in one place it suggests 1.5 eggs a day is the safe maximum. In another 3 eggs a day is optimal.
The authenticitynof the authors is , debateably, dubious.
