First endo appointment done. HbA1c is 39 so excellent control they said [emoji1323]great news. It was 79 in March after diagnosis. They wouldn’t give me Tresiba or libre but half pen requested at least. All good!

Must get myself a half into pen. Soo my sister is a GP and she said she spoke to the diabetic consultant today at work.. saying I was now on a low carb diet and the consultant said to stop as can cause kidney damage having ketones... Doesn’t fluctuating or high blood sugars cause that?? God!
