Thanks Miss Muffett, it would have been nice to discuss other options. However, I’ve decided to let go of the Ozempic, and work on diet and exercise (along with metformin).x

I felt if I had seen another doctor that was familiar with diabetes I may have had better support. The GP said she is not allowed to prescribe Ozempic, that I would need to be referred to the weight management department, and even then I do not fit the criteria.

That’s good to know, GP said no as although the criteria states a BMI of over 30, to qualify BMI is from 40. She offered no alternative, however, will see if Rybelsus is possible. Thank you :)

GP have said even though I am type 2 and bmi is32, that I don’t fit the criteria. Was wondering if anyone else has had similar GP responses?

Hi, in April I had my blood test and the results were 66, I got my results from Friday just gone and it’s 39mmol. Is this good? Should I be worried? Xx
