    I have been on the 7 day infusion sets for 2 years now and I usually get 7 days with them but we are different also recently started on the Medtronic sensor 4 and am finding the last the full 7 days as well

    I have had quite a lot surgeries in the last 10 years, I have never been asked to remove my pump, in fact my last surgery they just asked if it alarms what action should they take I said just keep an eye on my blood sugers.

    I have to change my reservoir every 3 to 4 days but my infusion set lasts 7 days with no problems in fact I find my infusion sites are less of a problem than when I used to have to change my sets every 2 or 3 days

    I don't know when they will be available in the UK but I have used them here in France for the last few months and can say they work, although I normally only get 5 or 6 days but that is so much better than 2 or 3 days

    MIR take senser off the machine acts like a giant magnet and will rip it of your arm it will also ruin the MRI machine. the ct is normally alright to leave on but it could affect reading afterwards

    You said the EU have strict rules but you must have meant the UK, as I live in the EU I was thinking in the EU you can post medical items but I am not sure, although I do post my old pumps back to my supplier with no problems. Let's hope lots of people send item's to the people of the Ukraine
