Took Simvaastatin for many years, no problem. Then the cripling leg pains started, read no end of complaints about this drug so I stopped taking them, leg pains eventually went. Strange thing I told my Dr I had stopped them,You know what he said .............nothing.

Thanks for replies. I have radically altered my diet and have lost weight, so I am fighting not to go on insulin. Time will tell. Thanks again Stan

Hi All Oral treatment over the last 10/12 years starting to show signs of not controlling my T2 diabetis. Anyone similar who has gone on to insulin would like to share their experiance of going on to Insulin? Thanks Stan Age 72
