    Hello ... I saw the podriatrist today ... she said my feet are actually in very good condition (yay!), and the wobbly walk is not a diabetes issue ... funny enough, she also suggested walking poles (and to see my gp).

    I feel the same about my dog Flint ... he has certainly helped my battle with T2 considerably. I meet other people in my walks who have similar relationships with their dogs ... it's heartwarming.

    Good to know, thanks ... sadly my surgery appears not to know this eg my wife for example was never offered this jab, and neither was I until I was 73 (and, as the nurse said, diabetic) ... they are a bit behind the door, seemingly :)

    Are you maybe referring to CBD oil (often referred to as cocaine oil)? If so, then yes, CBD can be very helpful for chronic pain and anxiety.

    Others in the forum can explain much better, but in the meantime, don't panic, this is a routine test ordered for newly diagnosed diabetics, to make sure there are no issues with the feet (where diabetes can do a lot of damage) - same thing happened to me.
