How did you give up carbs? I need to lose wright and a year into diabetes have gained.

How did you give up food you like? I am still gaining weight and being diabetic gave me no willpower.

I have the same issue. I find this firum to be very confusing and nit easy to navigate. If there were a diagram and exact areas named in large letters where to find how to navigate.

You think denying chikdren cake and treats is good? You have no right to expect parents of children other than yours to do as you say.

I am taking a 1,000 2 x daily metformin and 2 g glipramide 2 x daily. I recently cut one glipramide in half at evening due to going too low at night. I would like to cut meds more but will power is weak at this time.

I watch carbs very little. I mostly eat what I like. Late today I ate a burger and onion rings and 2 or 3 hours later my b.s. Was 111 . So how is it possible my b.s. is not high?

My original post was to ask if I am good one day with low carbs should I still take meds? But say one day carbs are low but next day carbs are high can I choose meds on days carbs are high but not take meds when I am in control more with low carb eating?
