    Issues with Injecting

    Are you using syringes or a 'pen'? Sometimes the pens are a little less imposing and easier to use.. It takes a while to get used to doing jabs though, so persevere.best of luck... :) Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Interstingly it is the same for me, I think it important not to hypo when loking after my children or at work - however instead of good BGs this maeans I run high to eliminate the risk - hence poor control.... :(

    I completely agree, Family first, work second, diabetes last...seesm to be my life now. My little one is now 2and a half and my dibetes control is poorer than ever...really trying to turn it around, but finding it very difficult.

    Batteries in Accu-Check Aviva Expert

    Is anyone else with one of these meters having to replace the batteries very frequently in their meter? I seem to be replacing them every few weeks at the moment? I don't keep it in a case, just loose in my bag, but dont think it is being left 'on'.. :roll:

    Do you find you are constantly looking for signs? I am trying really hard not to test my little boy, but is is soooo difficult, he was drinking tonnes the other day and I really had to stop myself from testing, he was just thirsty...
