I have heard that your body tries to heal itself around the cannula and therefore stops the absorption of the insulin at the site. Maybe try and change every other day. I know its a faff but its got to be better than injecting with a pen or syringe.

I was told that by Roche it was only the flex link plus was being stopped and I had to move over to the normal flex link. Had to get special disclosure from DSN so that I could move over. It took ages and not sure which end the fault was at.

Hi Mike, If I get a Hi BG using my Accu-Check insight, I make sure that my cannula isn't leaking from any part of it at all. A quick check can be had by dabbing a kitchen towel on the cannula after a bolus to see if you can see a wet patch. I now see that 50% of my Hi BG's are caused by...
