    Hello, I was wondering if I ate late at night would that affect my morning fasting blood glucose reading ? I talking about 300-400 calories about 2 hours before bed. Low carbs but with maybe 30g protein. Many thanks in advance T

    Gotta be honest as a newbie it would be easier for me if we used the units used in the uk but meh ok. I still don't really understand what they are all are so gonna shut up and go with the measurement my gp uses and ignore all anything else.

    Hello, I've seen some silly numbers for fasting bg, HBA1c etc and I'm confused. My diagnosis HBA1c was 106 uk units (whatever that is) amd my fasting bg was 19 two weeks ago and 8.8 now. Now I've seen posts with fasting bg of 100+ and I'm confused??? Would someone be able to explain how...

    Hello all! Thank you all for your replies. The notes on statins are interesting. I have an appointment with my GP in 10 days time to check that my fbg number are not rising, I imagine this is because of the statins. All I can say about meters and strips are they are on my repeat script...
