    Upgrading the 640g to 670g

Oh wow brilliant, i changed to the mio because the SureT set would get tugged out despite the second sticker to help prevent it whilst i played football. I would train 5 times a week as i was in an academy and if the plastic tube came out i would know but the sureT would come out but instead...

    Upgrading the 640g to 670g

Is this the SureT with the butterfly wings? If not can you specify? I’ve always had the sureT with the butterfly wings and self insert methods and the Mio sets. If there is better out there and more reliable to stay in me i would love to hear about it :)

    Type 1'stars R Us

What a story, i found out when i was diagnosed as i went to the cinema with my dad at 5 years old to watch a film. Had 1 pint of Coke and a bag of salt popcorn, during that night i went for a wee 13 times before i fell asleep. The next morning went to my mums in a really ill condition and was...

The amount of blood i’ve licked from my own finger over the years is probably enough to fill up a bathtub haha. That being said i did have a rough night last night.

I had dinner, injected waiting another 2 hours and was still 14.. I went to bed and didn’t feel rough so no ketones were produced...

I couldn't believe it either in your days. I mean the pumps were backpacks and i'm grateful for technology this day. I was speaking to a couple of family members the other day and funny enough i was the first in the family to get the condition, shortly afterwards my grandma had got type 2...

    Struggling with dawn phenomena...

Hi, what’s your average hba1c? and usually with pumps you can increase basal rate at certain times? But may require waking up at a certain time to make sure the insulin doesn’t bring your levels down because you wake up an hour later.

Just signed up to join this chat, just curious to find out what ages people are, when they got type 1 and how they’re managing? I’ll start off, i’m currently 18 and had type 1 diabetes since age of 5. I’m on the pump but pushing to get the freestyle libre as it’ll benefit me massively!
