I was recently prescribed this too...I took one pill, slept like I was in a coma, and spent the entire next day drifting in and out of sleep. I couldn't work, drive, function. Needless to say that was the only one I ever took and now have sertraline. What time of day are you taking it?

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning all, hope you don't mind me jumping in on this chat....fbg this morning was 5.7. Gotta say this was a bit of a relief because my 2 hour test after dinner was 13.5. It was my first day with a meter so I was shocked to see it that high :/

Hi all Just diagnosed yesterday with T2 but no stranger to low carb/keto dieting. I spent 2 years on under 20g and am back to low carbing today but I don't want to drop to keto levels yet. My bg meter isn't arriving til Friday but as a general rule....what would be a good average meal carb...

Hi both Thank you for replying, you are right...my mistake...I just rang to check and she said that hb1ac was 48 and the fbg was 9.8. She has diagnosed T2 this morning. I think the ECG is just because of a family history of premature heart attack so probably more a precaution. She was quite a...

    Yet another newbie..

Hi all, I have just got back from the docs, my hba1c was 9.8, and my other number which I didnt understand was 48. The doc says that because it is 48 that indicates a t2 diagnosis...but I thought the 9.8 was the more significant number so I am a bit confused why she didn't really comment on...
