Miaomiao 2 where to buy uk?

Hi, I’m looking at buying a Miaomiao 2. I live in the uk, but the only websites I can find selling it are miaomiao.cool and miaomiao.eu. Both look genuine, however the price difference is £30, which made me think, not knowing which or if either site is genuine and a £130/£160 would be too much...

    Freestyle Libre

Not particularly, my highest numbers are usually only 12ish, but that's only if I'm going to exercise or until I notice and then I would correct. And I felt hypo also.

    Freestyle Libre

I'm a new user of Freestyle Libre, only on my second sensor. I know that it has a lag time and that both the libre and finger pricking is never going to be 100% correct. And that you should always trust finger pricking to be more accurate than the libre. Taking all this into consideration, has...

    Newbie to Freestyle Libre

Hi, just started using freestyle libre on Thursday (I realise that's not long). However finding it a bit frustrating. First night I had it, it said I had a below 3 hypo during the night, which I didnt feel or wake up during....so was scared, I'm fairly newly diagnosed and never had a during the...

    Swimming

Hi Becca, thanks for this. I've only been diagnosed since Dec 19, so still very much getting used to everything and will still be in the honeymoon period. I worry about what to eat and when before swimming. I swim at 8 at night, so ate between 6:30 and 7. Usually I have pasta, but last night...

    Swimming

Hi, I've been swimming tonight, ate carbs and didnt take novorapid beforehand. Got in the pool at 11.4. I swam 30 lengths in 20 mins and got out to test and was 4.6! Had two lift sweets and carried on sipping a glucose drink every six lengths. Finished after 40 mins and 64 lengths was 7.0 when...

    Feeling proud

Been to my first consultant appointment since diagnosis on 06/12/19 this morning. I'm definitely a type 1 [emoji852]. But he's over the moon with my levels and my hba1c has come down from 115 when diagnosed to 75, so he's really pleased with that too. He's put me on the waiting list for a...

Pretty new to this and my first post

To be fair, I'm still not diagnosed fully as type 1. They are treating me as that, but I'm due to see my consultant on Sunday for my results. Symptoms, I was losing weight without trying, thirsty, weeing more (especially night time) and was really tired and all within a month/month and a half.

Pretty new to this and my first post

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yeah I've bought a kit bag for everything, but think I would prefer to just take my meter and finger pricker onto the poolside. I was thinking maybe just a zip lock plastic bag, so I don't get the meter soaked! Its a shame about the medical staff, not being as good as...

Pretty new to this and my first post

Hi, I was diagnosed on 06/12/2019 at 39, no family history, with a a1c of 115. I'm on 14 units of long lasting insulin twice a day and trying to keep as low carb as possible, although if I do fancy something then I am taking the rapid insulin to counteract the carbs. I have my numbers pretty...

Type 1. Just diagnosed. Still in hospital bed.

Hi Dave, I am fairly newly diagnosed too, 06/12/19. And I am still very much trying to find my new normal. It's the strangest disease ever, everytime I speak to people with it or with children with it, I learn something else which dumbfounds me! I am currently trying to keep as low carb as...
