    Web site

This web site is the most confusing one I’ve ever used. The navigation is pants and every subject is fragmented, for example, in the ‘what’s your blood fasting level today’ I click on the forum and it puts me in the middle of some postings from 4 years ago. That’s just for starters, wait til I...

    Hovis Low Carb

Feel I’ve been mislead... Hovis low carb bread 9g carbs 1g sugar Per slice. Kingsmeal no crust bread 7g 0g sugar Per slice. I Only have 1 or 2 slice a week in chicken sandwich as I try keeping off the bread but thought I’d share this with you.

Thank you Ziggy. Interesting read. I’ve signed up with the low carb diet, I like recording food intake and seeing the results in graphic charts, does make me think a bit more about what I’m eating. The remission status is one I’d like to get to, there is not much info on how to look after...

Thanks for your reply Doc. I’m not going to test as often if it’s going to stress me. Fasting and 2hrs post meal will do me, I’ve not had chips now for long time, have lots of boiled eggs or meat over salads. I like food that’s quick to prep. Can’t be doing all that peeling carrots and washing...

Thank you . I think for £21 I may review that, I was looking at £70...I’m not happy at £70 but £21 is do-able. If everyone is on low carb diet and looking after their levels how come they are not all in remission? Is remission a myth to encourage you? Thanks again. Steve

Thank you for replying. Some good advice. I guess my mood swings are up and down but I’m generally a calm and steady man. I do like food to be assorted but find I’m on the same old stuff and not a clue where to change it. Can handle chicken salad during summer but that doesn’t appeal in mid...

Thank you for taking time to reply. I don’t think I’ve ever had celeriac, what does that taste like I wonder? The yogurt not a bad idea and so are the eggs, think Ill have a go at those. I have pizza and scrape the topping off leaving the bread. I’m really not good at knowing what I should or...

Steve, sorry to confirm you’re type 2... That was Jan 2020. It was like being given a death sentence, now 5 months on I’ve had enough of blood testing 5 or 6 times a day. I’ve had enough of trying to look after my diet, I don’t enjoy veg at all, all so boring. Nothing worse than looking at...
