    I've not been in for a while as I'v felt a little depressed. Firstlt let me say I do not like this new forum, I can't find anything, but onto the spaghetti. Has anyone tried the wheat free spaghetti from Asda ?

    Do T2's need to test frequently long-term?

    I've been type 2 for 9 years. I was tested with the meter once only and told it was unecessary for me to have one. (May have been because I passed out when she did it, continuing needle phobia). Nevertheless I have been doing fine. Know what to eat and what not to etc.

    Well done Mrs. Marigold. I'm type 2, no testing. My last check 3 months ago at clinic was 7.3 and I got a rollicking. I've tried to go low carb but the omelettes make me feel sick and If I don't eat carbs I am always always hungry. I really don't know what to do now.

    I've never had a fasting at all. They do my cholesterol via my usual blood tests.

    Don't involve yourself in the blame game.

    My first time on this forum. I have been type 2 for 7 years. Never was overweight, always active, fairly good diet but my dad was type 2 also. These adverts and blame warning via the NHS really get my back up. I did absolutely NOTHING to get diabetes except maybe it was hereditary which I can't...
