    It looks that way, I've a constant struggle with my DN all she wants to do is put me on as many tablets as she can lol When my a1c went up to 137 I was already on 4 metformin and I even lost 4kg... She had me on blood thinners and Statins so she put me on 2 more tablets to bring down my glucose...

    Fasting & Metformin?

    I was on 4 metformin and 2 glicozide when I began fasting, I took them with water. After a week I was doing OMAD everyday and my bg began to drop below 4mmol/l so I started dropping 1 tablet at a time until I was free of all tablets. It's important to keep a close eye on your bg.

    I can't say I had any problems with metformin and I was on 4 metformins 500mg and 2 glicazide 80mg a day, having said that, my dr prescribed omaprazol when I first started taking metformin, back in 2010

    Thanks!!! Your stats over the last 13 months or so are very impressive. I'm working towards the same goal..... I did this once, 6 months after first diagnosed and I kept it for 4/5 years. I used a different strategy then ( tons of cycling) but I just don't have the same enthusiasm for it now...
