Newbie here.

I was diagnosed with diabetes type 2 about 10 years ago. I've been up and down with its control over the years and getting totally out of control during the first lockdown, a1c of 135. I'm OK now, my last a1c was 37, without medication, thanks to OMAD and low carbs diet.

I found this forum today and I look forward to learn new ideas and share my experience too.

Welcome to the forums @RICK-59.

welcome, sounds like you have much to teach and contribute too

Thanks!!!

Your stats over the last 13 months or so are very impressive. I'm working towards the same goal..... I did this once, 6 months after first diagnosed and I kept it for 4/5 years. I used a different strategy then ( tons of cycling) but I just don't have the same enthusiasm for it now; I still do cycling but nowhere as much as back then. The lesson learned is, exercise is good to control diabetes but not sustainable in the long run...at least not for me. Now I go out on my bike and do 10 to 20 miles and I enjoy it....back then I used to do 15 - 20 miles everyday and up to 100 miles on a Saturday, I loved it but I can't do that anymore :-)
