It has been a while since I last logged in Since the last time, I went from 2 X 1000mg Metformin per day to 2 X 850mg Metformin per day back in November. Two weeks ago, this has been lowered to 2 X 500mg per day.

An update. Confirmation that I have type 2. I have been told to stop the insulin injections, and stick to the Metformin treatment. My first goal is achieved. On to the 2nd, which will be harder. Weight loss, and see if I can reverse this.

I am still waiting confirmation as to what type of Diabetes I have, as the specialist is on holiday. I have done the additional blood tests as requested, so should find out on the 4th August. I am hoping it is type 2, and I can reverse it, but I have my doubts.
