What do people think of the Sinocare Safe AQ blood monitor?

Someone else needs to come in But I'm sticking up for sinocare because it's what I got. I found this research paper abstract. Accuracy Evaluation of Five Blood Glucose Monitoring Systems in Patients from Different Departments Xiaona Li et al. Exp Clin Endocrinol Diabetes. 2020 Apr. Show...

What do people think of the Sinocare Safe AQ blood monitor?

I'm definitely no expert by understand these metres have an accuracy or plus or minus 15% and the difference between 3.8 and 4.4 is exactly 15%.

What are the advantages of the no squeeze for blood droplet versus squeezing finger?

I wasn't too keen to start with but I found especially not too bad taking blood glucose readings. I have a system when I wash my hands under hot water and set my Lancet at 2.5 and I don't press very hard. I normally need to give my finger squeeze. Then I heard someone here recommending it no...

    I love chocolate.

Me too. Like anything you have to build up to it, don't try it straight from milk chocolate. Aim for the 70s, 85% 90% and then the hundred. Absolute black 100% is the only chocolate I can keep the house. It's like a medicine, help me go to the loo and it's a definite pick me up. Occasionally I...

What do people think of the Sinocare Safe AQ blood monitor?

It's pretty much the cheapest one available on eBay. My own experiences and it does seem to work. I understand that all personal blood test monitors have a margin of inaccuracy. But is there any data that shows some models as being more accurate than others? Thanks

Hi I have a question about Dr Greger author of, How not to die. And exponent of the plant-based diet, he says fat causes diabetes not carbs.

That makes a lot of sense. I do feel like a sucker because I had gone mostly vegan and low-fat thinking I was doing good, and it wasn't the case. Perhaps if you're young your metabolism can get away with it. That said I don't believe in censorship with all these things one learns and grows. I...

Hi I have a question about Dr Greger author of, How not to die. And exponent of the plant-based diet, he says fat causes diabetes not carbs.

Sorry to hear that, it is very bad luck to develop these conditions when you are doing your best to be as healthy as possible which it sounds like you were. I'm really glad for yours and the other comments here. The low-carb model of eating has always felt right by was getting genuinely...

Hi I have a question about Dr Greger author of, How not to die. And exponent of the plant-based diet, he says fat causes diabetes not carbs.

Very interesting what you say, I didn't know that about human milk. But it's so crazy what is on YouTTube. This is the straight out hypothesis of the vegan promoters and that is we are closely related in evolution to apes and apes eat vegetable matter all day long, that's what they're designed...

Hi I have a question about Dr Greger author of, How not to die. And exponent of the plant-based diet, he says fat causes diabetes not carbs.

Hi, you are quite correct I know ulcerative colitis is a topic for a different forum but the suggestion is that the byproducts of the bile interact in some way with the colon of some people who have ulcerative colitis and its an irritating effect.

Hi I have a question about Dr Greger author of, How not to die. And exponent of the plant-based diet, he says fat causes diabetes not carbs.

Interesting what you said, By the way I'm going to borrow your humorous scarecrow comment, I see a consultant, I'll say, I hear your a scarecrow… I had some pretty bad flareups and unfortunately things all gone haywire when I've tried to get myself acclimatised fat before trying a short fast...

Hi I have a question about Dr Greger author of, How not to die. And exponent of the plant-based diet, he says fat causes diabetes not carbs.

I know it makes no logical sense and goes against almost everyone's experience here on this forum. But is there anything in his hypothesis. Dr Greger, is a big proponent of the plant-based diet. He's always using research to back up his argument however i've noticed that he is very selective...
