    I co i contacted Lidl head office a while back to enquire about carbs in the ‘low GI’ loaf and there were more than in the sourdough rolls per 100gm. Can’t remember the amounts but I stick with Sainsburies hi-lo as a result. Yes please to any recipe suggestions.

    Are you on statins? You are a similar profile to me…. Statins reduced my cholesterol but I went from Hba1c 37 to 44. Apparently, statins can trigger new onset diabetes ‘nod’. Take care.
