Yes, to be honest, I'd rather they did spend the time getting the manufacturing right so the sensors are reliable. Being able to depend on them is key, it's so annoying when they fail within the first 24/48 hours.
Hi, there is still a supply issue with Simplera. I had a training course this week to use G4 sensors instead until it is resolved, mentioned timescale was 6+ weeks. We were told there was a quality control issue (which makes sense as my sensors rarely lasted the stated 7 days) when they moved...
Thanks Peeps...nice to know there are others out there experiencing the same problem....I didn't even get an email...only found out because I called to chase as on the last one. They did say there was no problem supplying the G4 sensors, but unfortunately they are not NHS funded and I can't be...
I started with my new Medtronic 780G with Simplera Sync (funded) just under a month go and have not been able to order any replacement Simplera Sync sensors. It doesn't help that 3 of the sensors in the starter pack were 'faulty' and failed after a couple of days.
Having spoken to Medtronic...
This is interesting. I have had the Simplera for 1 week and already gone through 3 sensors. They just stop working without notice. So you can wear them on your abdomen? Might try that. Apart from this issue I am totally in love with it.
