Hi Himtoo, I always changed my time after I arrived at destination, in California, in Australia and Mexico and it always worked. After all my opinion is that what counts is when your brain perceives it is a different time. And this does not happen instantly.

Hi, just logged into the forum after months....and realised a meet up is going to take place in a few days. I will try to be there.

I usually drink Stella and I inject 1 unit to avoid the spike which otherwise I would have, after 20 minutes. I tried the Pure Blonde in Australia (low carb beer) and i actually didn't get any spike.

Hi Trefall. this "List of countries by incidence of Type 1 diabetes ages 0 to 14" is, in a certain way, misleading. It shows Finland as n.1 and Italy as n.32. But actually Sardinia (Italy- where I come from) has the 2nd highest T1 incidence in the world...and the diet, in Sardinia, is not...

You can stay without your pump attached for an hour without any problem. I swim and I stay without pump for more than an hour. If you search in YouTube there's a video of a diabetic guy who play football professionally and is a pump user.
