Hi I was diagnosed with t2, 5 months ago. And I've been on it for 4 months. I don't feel hungry at all anymore I was never a big eater and meal times is just another job now and since I started it I have bad wind Luckily I work in a primary so the children get the blame for it.

Hi. Welcome to the club. I'm similar to you but all my numbers were much higher. I started insulin straight away and then had tablets added a few weeks later. The only difference is that I didn't need any scans. There will be some good days and some bad ones but just do your best and be easy...

Im type 2 and I was put on 16 units a day straight away. The lowest I can get my BS is 5.7 and that is first thing in the morning. I can now tell my how my body feels if I'm high. It's funny what a person gets use to.

Hi. Usually my levels are lower first thing in the morning. I am finding that the days my levels are high first thing it's really hot or I'm feeling a bit under the weather. But this is just me

I agree with all of this. The only thing I would say about carbs that with me it was trial and error. Some of the foods that work for me don't work for others.

I worked it out for myself. The people who I thought cared really didn't and the ones I thought didn't care really do. You wouldn't believe the horrible things some people said about my diabetes ( and I won't share it here)

This group is one of the best things I've ever done. Diabetes made me realise that I have a lot of toxic people in my life who I thought cared about me I am slowly rebuilding people around me. It's also made me look after myself better

Popped into Dr today and asked and they said they would rather me see the doctor so the earliest appointment which I have taken is 17th Aug. So not too long

It's time I admit to myself that my big toe is numb. I have been to scared to go to the doctor but I think I really need to go and get it looked at. I'm posting on here because really need to take my head out of the sand And I know that if I write it here then I will have to do something.

Hi. I'm fine thanks. Just tested and it's 8.4. Did nothing different today. During the day it currently can be as high as 10. Be glad when it cools down.
