Hi. Been asked by my DSN to switch from Novorapid to Fiasp. Anyone done this switch and found it better or worse? Would I still have to pre bolus around 20mins beforehand?

What about day time insulin the morning lantus? How to you test that?

Sorry so for over night that’s fine I can keep a check on that but how do I basal test in day? Because I’m not on a pump so wouldn’t really benefit me basal testing diff meal times because lantus is one dose not diff thoughout day? Would I say miss breccie? Or miss lunch?

Hi. They’ve suggested I don’t do basal testing now as I’m pregnant so they don’t want me missing meals

They did offer me a pump ages ago but I declined just felt like I wasn’t ready for it. Thank you

Sorry only just seen this. So I have an appt on Tuesday. They have given me levels to aim for before eating, 1 hour after etc. Fasting is 4.5-5. I always feel low at 4-4.5 so this just isn’t happening. I’m also injecting much more to bring my levels down then I’m going hypo then I treat the hypo...

Hi. I’ve just finished my round of IVF and it didn’t interfere with my levels at all really. My HAB1c was 48 before starting and I actually think it’s gone up because I felt ill from cold etc for a good month etc but with IVF it was fine
