    Leg pains and watery eyes

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with of these problems. It is so easy to blame the diabetes for problems whether that's what is causing them or not! I was diagnosed in March and these things are happening more and more often. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.. Sent from the...

    Malibu

This sounds silly but always thought that I should avoid Malibu because it is so sweet! However when I looked online it seems that there are 0g of sugar per serving and around 5g carbs for a serving. Does this mean that a few malibus with a diet mixer will not affect blood sugars badly? I'm...

What do you do for Work?

I'm a nursery nurse and work with children aged 3-5 which is great but crazy at times. Just snack regularly and always have something sweet to hand in the room just in case :-) try my best to not let diabetes change the way I worked before I was diagnosed xx Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

Advice on my 5 year old please

I'm not the most knowledgable about all of this as I'm just newly diagnosed but I would say you know your child better than anyone else. Keep asking the doctors until you are sure either way. You have that right and its the doctor and nurse's job to help you along the way. This might not be very...

Feel really ill after eating a high carb meal.

I get that feeling too after a high carb meal and blood sugars usually reflect how I feel (nausea usually means they are high). Going for a walk even just about the house and drinking water seems to help make that horrible nauseous feeling go away :-) Sent from the Diabetes Forum App
